  Chapter 1. The Professor

Dylan was running down the hall, even though he knew this was forbidden. They were already in College, but still treated like naughty kids. If some school guard saw that... but he couldn’t be late for class or he would be punished anyway. He checked his watch. Five minutes left.

Not one of his new housemates called him. When he woke up, he was already late. Maybe it hadn’t been such a good idea to ask to live away from his best friend, who always called him on time. Dylan frowned at that thought. He loved Oliver, but he couldn’t stand to watch his relationship. He was a Dom, and he wasn’t afraid of punishing Lucy, his submissive, in any situation, in front of everyone. Dylan didn’t like that. But, most importantly, he didn’t like to think that himself didn’t have a relationship. And, in Chayl, where he lived, it was mandatory to have a relationship of dominance and submission.

I don’t need a relationship. I’m in college now, which means, I’ll party until I can’t party no more. I won’t be Oliver and Lucy, he thought.

When he rushed in the classroom, the first thing he noticed was Oliver’s look. He wasn’t amused. He was very stern with rules, even though he knew he couldn’t control Dylan. He was sitting next to Lucy, who opened a big smile. The classroom was crowded and there was only one empty place across the room, away from his friends.

He had just sat down, feeling his face warm, when he heard:

“Wow, I’m glad I wasn’t the last one to arrive!”

Dylan turned to look. The voice belonged to a beautiful girl sitting by his side. Blonde, blue eyes, tall. She was wearing black makeup around her eyes and pink lipstick which Dylan was sure was against the dress code.

“Am I the last one?” Dylan asked, looking around to see if he could find any other empty chair. The girl laughed.

  “You sure are.”

“Damn!” he exclaimed, slapping his forehead.

  “What’s your name, funny boy?”

“Funny boy? That is funny! It’s Dylan,” he said.

“Natasha. We should be friends. I’m always late too,” she said, smiled, and turned around because the teacher had just entered the room.

Dylan laughed, thinking maybe his luck wasn’t so bad after all. What a weirdo, he thought.

“NATASHA!” the professor shouted. Natasha jumped in place, looking at him. She believed she was doing a great job disguising the fact that she was on her phone. Around her, people giggled. She tried to pretend to be innocent, feeling her blood rushing through her body, in a wave of excitement and fear.

“What’s wrong, Mr. Thompson?” she said with a childish voice.

“Don’t pretend that you don’t know. You’ve been messing on this phone for fifteen minutes. You’re already in college, you’re an adult now, soon you must find a partner for life, and you’re still happy to be a mediocre student,” he scolded.

Everyone in the room laughed. I’m in college but it sure doesn’t feel like it, everyone here’s still a little child, she thought, resentfully.

“I’ve had enough of you. Come here,” the professor said, seriously, tapping on his wooden table, located in the middle of the room, in front of the blackboard. Natasha blushed in anxiety. Fear… unconscious desire. Her hands went cold and sweaty.

As Natasha stared at him, paralyzed by fear, he walked around the table and opened his drawer.

The room’s breathing seemed to stop when the teacher pulled out a wooden cane, known to all students. It was practically impossible to get to college in Chayl without getting a spanking at least once.

Natasha shifted uncomfortably in place. That obscure thought of getting a spanking in front of everyone aroused her, but she was also fully aware of the whole room watching such humiliation.

“Hurry. I’ll go from six strokes to twelve,” Mr. Thompson said and moved the cane in the air. It made a whirring noise and Natasha knew the feeling of having that landing on her ass.

“Professor, I… no, please, don’t do that to me…” she tried saying, but he stared at her, challenged.

She looked at Dylan. That kid that got there late too.

He wasn’t laughing like the others. He looked concerned.

She felt even more embarrassed after that.

Natasha would not bow down and accept all the government orders. That was her goal: to never submit herself, unless she wanted to. She dreaded the law of having to find someone to be your life partner. Having to study in silence and accept everything, otherwise you’ll get the cane on your butt. Natasha did what she wanted, regardless of the consequences, and that’s how she liked it.

But there would be no way of escaping the punishment now, so she stood up slowly, amidst the funny looks of her classmates.

The professor leaned her across the table, her butt facing the classroom. Natasha was surprised at the delicacy he did so. He placed a firm hand on her back to keep her in place.

“You know why I’ll do this to you, don’t you?”

“Yes, sir,” she managed to say. She couldn’t see it, but she imagined everyone’s faces. Some would want to look away, pretending they weren’t enjoying the scene. Others wouldn’t stop staring.

She felt it when he lifted her skirt. She heard a general exclamation and laughter, knowing that moment would come.

“What is this, Natasha?!” the professor exclaimed. She was wearing tiny lingerie. Red. “This’s not the dress code, as you should know!” Mr. Thompson exclaimed again, looking astonished. “I’m going to have to increase your punishment, young lady. Do you understand?” he asked, but she said nothing. She felt tears in her eyes as she could still hear the laughter. But worse, she knew that if he didn’t hurry, everyone would see how aroused she was. Wet. Already feeling her pussy throb with desire.

The first stroke hit her ass in a strong, precise way, marking her skin like flames. She wasn’t expecting it at that moment. She jumped, whimpering, while the teacher’s steady hand held her to the table. She couldn’t stand still, danced in place, trying to reach down to stroke her ass.

  “Hold the position.”

When she started thinking about how abusive he was and that he couldn’t do that to her, the next blow came, the burst of pain exploded in her head. She kept dancing in place, trying hard not to get her hands there, thinking about how everyone was watching her, feeling her desire pulsate, and the other stroke hit her. Hard, quick. She screamed, unable to contain herself.

“Silence,” the professor said, coldly, not paying any attention to her suffering. He waited until the girl stopped wiggling and whimpering, and the next stroke landed on her ass. Natasha felt tears in her eyes. That was too much for her, she wasn’t going to take it, she was going to move, rebel, get out of there. BAM. Next one. She yelled again, jumped in place, but the teacher’s hand held her to the table. There were lots of emotions for her to understand, she couldn’t think clearly.

“Please, sir, please, no more…” she heard herself saying, begging.

  She beg
an to slip into a place in her mind where the shame of her classmates had disappeared, the thought of running away no longer made sense, and the count of the strokes had been lost. She didn’t know how many more were to come. There was only the burning pain, the heavy hand of Mr. Thompson, and her desire. She couldn’t believe how wet that humiliation made her. It should not be right. She should have been ashamed, frigid. No. It aroused her more than anything in the world.

She realized that it was over when the teacher put his hand on her shoulder and lowered her skirt. She stood up, slowly staring at him with her big blue eyes. She realized that she had cried and that her black makeup must have been all over her face.

“Go wash your face and get yourself together. Then come back. You will be retained after class to finish the work.” The teacher said, firmly. Natasha nodded, sniffing and trying to wipe her eyes. She glanced around the room, but she couldn’t make out the face of her classmates. She didn’t want to.

But then he saw Dylan’s stare. He was frowning. What a good first impression I made, she thought.

Then, she ran to the bathroom.

People of Chayl live in a stern society where everything revolves around rules. The Government decides everything, including children’s education. Physical punishments are encouraged and required.

Domination exists in all aspects of life. Parents and children, students and teachers, police, and citizens.

People follow the same logic from the moment they are born. The Government sends them to special schools, so it’s easier to control them. After they graduate from school, they are required to go to The Governmental College. There, they must find a partner for life. By the age of twenty-four, they must be ready to get married. No relationship exists outside this logic of dominance. Society despises vanilla couples. Punishments are expected.

Failing to accomplish that is everyone’s worst fear.

The last year is known as the Junction Year.

Students are randomly put together. By the end of College, they’ll have married someone.

  Nobody leaves the College alone.

“I cannot believe she did it again,” Oliver said, rolling his green eyes and running his hand through his short hair. It was brown, almost red, and cut in a military-style. “Where’s her mind? You remember when we met her, right? Being her roommate will be tough.” Oliver told Lucy, who nodded.

  “What happened?” Dylan asked.

“Long story, but she got here breaking the dress code on purpose. She said she wants to be known as a rebel… she said she’d never obey any of the rules.” Lucy said. Dylan laughed, excited.

“Rebel? Yeah, she’s insane. But she was nice to me. I’m kinda sorry for her.”

“She needs someone to put her in her place.” Oliver said, while petting Lucy’s hair. “Maybe you could do it, Dylan.”

“Me? No way. I don’t want trouble. No relationship for me here. And I’d prefer a good submissive.” Dylan said, chuckling. He had dark circles under his eyes. Everyone thought they were due to insomnia or something, but in fact, they had always been there since he was born. He was bullied because of this, but he learned to like it very much. Now he felt it gave him a bohemian look.

“I will actually have to take care of her if she can’t sleep at night in pain. Mr. Thompson is tough.” Oliver said, sighing.

“Aw, look how cute, you’re worried about her!” Dylan exclaimed, shaking his head.

“But of course! We live together, I have to take care of everyone there,” Oliver said, although he knew that was not true. But he knew he wouldn’t be able to just stand and watch the girl suffering. If he considered himself the leader of the apartment, then he needed to make sure everyone was well, and everything was working.

“Poor thing... everyone laughing at her like that,” Lucy said. She was short, 5’2”, had long, bulky black hair, and dark eyes. She had a collar around her neck. It showed her submissive status in the relationship with Oliver.

“It has happened to us all, right? That’s the reason I cannot wait to graduate. I want to start hitting other people instead of the other way around.” Dylan laughed, and Lucy did too. Oliver stared at him, shaking his head.”

They reached the cafeteria. Each one took a tray. Oliver chose eggs and an orange juice, Dylan filled a bowl of cereal and milk, Lucy got cupcakes and cookies. They sat down at a table at the far end of the cafeteria. The place was full.

“Lucy...” Oliver said, a little threatening. The girl turned her big eyes to him, innocently. “What did I tell you about eating crap for breakfast?”

  “But it’s snack time now.”

“Leave her alone, bro,” Dylan intervened.

“Dylan, just because you want to kill yourself with a heart attack before the age of 30, it doesn’t mean that I’m going to let Lucy do the same. So, give me this cupcake here and you’ll eat the scrambled eggs,” he said and took Lucy’s plate.

“Oh no! I want the cupcake!” she protested, amused.

“Lucy...” he continued, in that same tone. She crossed her arms, stared at him, and picked up the eggs. “Good girl.”

“That’s why I would never get into a serious BDSM relationship. I can’t.” Dylan said as he stretched out in his chair. “I love to eat cereal.”

“If you ever found someone to make you stop stepping out of line, I’d never let you drop that person. You’re hopeless, Dylan. You’re almost like Natasha. Maybe it’s because you never had to work a day in your life and you never will.” Oliver said, his voice serious, but they knew he was fooling around. They had been best friends for over ten years, ever since they were roommates at the boarding school in elementary school.

“You know what’s funny? You can’t tell me what to do!” Dylan exclaimed, showing his tongue to him, like a child. Lucy laughed.

“You both deserve a spanking,” Oliver said, rolling his eyes, and getting up to get more breakfast for himself.

When he returned, he saw that they both had a guilty face. Lucy couldn’t stop smiling and Dylan was looking up at the ceiling, whistling, as if nothing had happened.

“What’s wrong?” Oliver asked, staring at them as he sat down. “Tell me, you brats. What did you guys do?” he glanced around to see if he could find anything when he realized the cupcake was gone. “Lucy! You ate the cupcake! I said you couldn’t!” he exclaimed. Dylan and Lucy started laughing.

“He made me do it!” Lucy said, and Oliver noticed that her mouth was full of chocolate.

“Oh, you’ll pay for it. That's strike two. On three, you’ll be sorry, kitten,” Oliver said, and the two continued to laugh, like children.

“I’m leaving. Oh, and I have to talk to you, Oliver,” Dylan said, standing up.

“I won’t talk about that again, man. My last word is no.”

  “About what?” Lucy asked.

“It’s not a matter for babies. Now, quiet and eat that egg,” Oliver said, harshly.

“But I want to know!” Lucy insisted.

“You are being so naughty today, Lucy!” Oliver exclaimed, but he smiled. “Oh, I’m really going to have to teach you a lesson. We talk later, Dylan.”

“Okay, fine. How can you handle him, Lucy?”

“I don’t know,” she said, folding her arms. “He’s unbearable.”

As soon as she finished saying that, she regretted it a little. Oliver looked at her more seriously.

  “Strike three. You’re out.”

Lucy knew she was in trouble now. And Dylan shook his head. The girl was in that relationship because she loved being a submissive. But Dylan couldn’t imagine himself in neither position. Not being a dominant all the time, making people eat things that they didn’t want; not being a submissive.

  Chapter 2. Julian

Dylan knocked on apartment 39’s door and waited. The guy who opened had short hair and the arm covered in tattoos. Dylan looked at him from top to bottom in a second and
smiled, curling his lips, raising his eyebrows. The guy noticed this and blushed. He had a warm, innocent smile.

“Hi. I’m Dylan. Is Oliver there?” Dylan asked. “Can I come in? It’s cold out here.”

The guy looked confused for a moment, but moved away from the door quickly, smiling.

“Sure, sure! I’m sorry… Oliver’s in his room, I’ll call him, make yourself at home, do you want something? Water? Coffee?”

  “To know your name.”

  “What?”

“You asked if I want anything. I want to know your name.” Dylan said, smiling, and threw himself on the couch as if it were his own apartment.

“Oh! I’m so clumsy, huh? Julian. Julian White. And what’s your name? Wait, you’ve told me already, right?” Julian said, all weird and nervous, while he went to Oliver’s room down the hall beside the kitchen. Dylan had to laugh. Julian had big brown eyes and wore glasses.

  “It’s Dylan.”

“Oh, yeah, I’m sorry,” Julian said. “I’ll be right back, ok?”

“No problem,” Dylan said. He couldn’t stop smiling.

All the apartments on campus were the same. The color inside was almost gray, quite depressing, and the carpet was brownish. Typical of Chayl. Grey. There were two fabric sofas in the room, a large window, and the kitchen shared the space with the living room, separated by a counter and some high stools. The living room also had a dining table and four chairs. Behind the couches, there was a door to a room. The other room was down the hall besides the kitchen. Dylan and Oliver had decided they would ask not to be together. They both knew they argued too much, especially since Oliver was very bossy.
